FAQ

Do I need to wear the chest strap all the time?

No, you only put on the chest strap when you want to perform a measurement. The recommended total measurement time is at least 7 hours per week. The minimum duration for a single recording is 15 minutes, while the maximum is 24 hours. The Kardi Ai service is available to you throughout your entire subscription period, and you decide the frequency of measurements yourself.

What are the technical requirements for using Kardi Ai?

The Kardi Ai app is compatible with smartphones running:

• iOS 14.0 or newer

• Android 7.0 or newer

During measurement, you must have an active Wi-Fi or mobile data connection and Bluetooth enabled so the ECG strap can record and subsequently evaluate the data.

I have my own Polar H10 – can I purchase just the license?

At this time, we do not offer the option to use the service with your own chest strap. Kardi Ai is a certified medical device, which means all components we use must meet strict regulatory requirements. For this reason, the service can only be used with the strap provided by us.

Choosing the Right Option

1) Chest Strap Size

Choose your size based on your chest circumference measured under the bust. The strap should fit snugly—not loose, but not too tight. Thanks to the adjustable sliding mechanism, it easily adapts to your figure:

• XS–S: 50–75 cm

• M–XXL: 65–110 cm

• XXXL: 90–135 cm

2) License Duration

Choose a license based on how long you wish to monitor your ECG. Long-term monitoring has proven to be the most effective.

Note: Arrhythmias are detected in approximately one-third of our users. Half of these are caught within the first 3 months, while the other half are detected between months 3 and 12. Therefore, we recommend a longer monitoring period to significantly increase the chance of detecting even rare arrhythmias.

Licensing & Renewals

How does the Kardi Ai license work?

The license represents the period during which you can use the Kardi Ai app and perform ECG measurements. You can choose a validity period of 3, 6, or 12 months. Once the period expires, the license can be easily renewed at any time according to your needs.

My license is expiring soon—what should I do?

One month before your license expires, you will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed. If necessary, we will contact you personally to ensure your satisfaction and help you handle the renewal conveniently.

My license has expired and I will no longer use the service—what now?

If you decide not to renew your license for any reason, you do not need to return the chest strap. The strap is yours; it was provided as a personal aid and, for hygienic reasons, is not intended for use by another person. Simply keep it in case you wish to return to monitoring in the future. You can reactivate the service at any time by simply renewing your subscription.
